So I have good news to share with you guys today. If you noticed, I did an update to the website. I am in the mood to try something new. I did like the original theme but I think this one is pretty cool as well. We are just nearly a month away from the new year and so maybe it is time to try something different.

The good news I want to share is that I FINALLY bought a new MacBook Pro which will arrive soon! My old mac started having a lot of issues but I am excited to finally have my own computer again and to start writing music again as well. It has been really hard not being able to record anything especially with this new platform.

My goal is to be able to write some new material to share with you on my website. I want you guys to connect with me not just through my writing but also through my music.

On a different note, I started watching “Glee” again. I never actually finished the series, I know, I know, shame on me. I seem to be revisiting a lot of the shows that I used to watch in high school. Eventually I will be going back to OTH also known as One Tree Hill. That show taught me so many life lessons and knew how to make me cry. Then there is the show, Teen Wolf. It just ended and I still cannot get over that ending. However the one show I do want to talk about is “Glee” did provide inspiration. I miss the arts.

I miss joining a cast of hopefuls sharing one dream of wanting to make music and memories to showcase to the world. It reminded me of my love for music and creative expression. Somehow some of that seemed lost for me in my need of growing up and deciding my future. Maybe it was the moving in to my apartment, buying my car, or working some place where I cannot express my creativity in a positive light, I am not sure; but when I look at the world around me,

I see how easy it could be to just join what everyone else is doing, and to keep your head down so you won’t stick out, but the funny thing is, us cool kids will never blend in that’s just not who we are. If you try to trap a light in a box, it will only illuminate everything around it.

I can only hope to write something as amazing as the stories that I grew up watching but it is definitely a goal of mine to give it a clear shot so I just wanted to write you guys today to say that things are starting to look up and I keep getting new job offers and hopefully one will aid in my journey as a creative writer.
