Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I wanted to send out a quick blog post to you since I didn’t post on Monday and Tuesday.  I hope you guys enjoyed your time with your families and friends and I hope you stayed warm.

I spent Christmas with my boyfriend and we had a little dinner date and went to go see “The Greatest Showman.”

I’ve been wanting to go see this movie for a while so I was very excited to finally go. However, the movie theater was crazy packed. I’ve never been to the movies during Christmas but it seemed like everyone had the same idea and to see the same movie because there was barely any space to get through.

When we finally made it into the theater, we found seats with no issue. I may provide additional commentary on the movie, “The Greatest Showman” for the next Movie Talk. I will say this. I liked the movie but I didn’t realize it would be a complete musical. My boyfriend isn’t big on musicals so I heard a lot of sighing and groaning through out the entire film.

Overall the music, choreography, and costumes were awesome. My favorite scene from the movie is when the whole casts sings “This Is Me.” This movie actually came on time for me because I needed a pick me up and it was perfect to make me laugh and cry a little.
