HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We made it to 2019!

I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and New Year’s celebration. I pretty much worked then rang in the new year resting and sipping on wine. I was able to check out some live music and watch one of my old schoolmates sing her heart out. There’s nothing like watching someone truly in love with what they do, it just reminds you of how much you love it too.

I don’t know if I shared this but I did get hired for a new job. I’ve been working there now for a little under a month. The first week was the hardest. I felt like there was so much I didn’t know and I was afraid to mess up but I am proud of myself for sticking it out. The job can be pretty challenging but I’m getting through it and I know it’s making me a better professionally and simply as a person.

Life is crazy and unpredictable, you never know quit where you will end up. One thing that has helped me in the past two years being out in the world on my own, is to always make goals for yourself. Write them down and study them and make every move an effort to reach them. I started off with a list and I’ve been marking everything off. I finished over half my last this past year and now I’m starting to add more things for this year.

I also was reading some inspirational quotes and ideas that I want to share with you all as we enter our next chapter of 2019. It is okay to acknowledge every thought and idea, good or bad but do not latch on to it, do not give it life nor power to consume you with fear or doubt. It’s okay to be nervous or uncertain of just how things are going to work out, but don’t let that feeling consume you. I think it’s best to allow it to pass through you and back out like a single breath you take.

I am still working on writing new music and getting back into acting. I wanted to take an acting class this semester, with work I’m not quit sure how to make all of it line up but I am going to figure out something. I refuse to give up on what I really want. I purchased some books to provide extra insight and inspiration on the journey to my dreams. I will have more updates soon so you guys stay tuned.
