NOTE FROM AUTHOR: In case you guys end up a little confused after reading my “hiatus” and “we’re moving” posts. As you can see we didn’t move. Lol. I decided to catch you guys up on my 2020 year since I wasn’t posting regularly. This will not be the traditional format. Mostly I’ll just be posting some highlights from the month. Enjoy 🌹.
So I actually got really sick in March. I ended up in the ER twice. It was not a good month for me. Friendship and loyalties were also tested. It was definitely a time of deep reflection and wake up call to take better care of myself. I have become a big supporter of self-love and mental health awareness.
I ended up posting on social media about it just thanking those that checked in on me and asked if I was okay. I’ve always said that I’d rather have a couple great friends that I know will always be there for me than 100 friends that stick around for the good time. I want to know what will happen when the parties over. That’s what I care about more.
Those ER visits and hospital bills were no doubt terribly expensive, (I’m still paying them off) but it definitely was a rebirth and reality check. I’m figuring out who I am and what I want out of life. It won’t always be easy but it will be worth it.
