90’s yearbook

I’m sure some of you have seen the 90’s trend that took over Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok over the past week or so. I actually tried the app myself and the pictures turned out pretty cool. I am a 90’s kid and I feel like Y2k has definitely been making a comeback for a while. I never stopped buying and wearing my choker necklaces so I felt like it was inevitable to revisit either decade. I am here for this era because I plan on finding as much late 90’s to early 2000s clothing as I can and relive some of the fashion that made me the gal I am today!

(This is definitely giving me a 90’s Blair Waldorf look. I love me some Gossip Girl).

The app is call EPIK and you do have to pay $3.99 or $5.99 for the 90’s Yearbook AI effect. I say it’s worth it though because you end up with about 6o photos and most of them come out really nice. I feel like each photo just brought out a different character or version of me that I didn’t even know existed. Like I legit want to create a character for each of these different looks. (Since I am an actor and writer too), *wink wink*. They are definitely giving main character-angsty-teen drama and I am here for it!

(This look is giving Queen B. Like is she head cheerleader? She definitely seems like she’s popular or maybe that’s just main character energy?!)

I wish I could say I looked this confident in high school. I was still trying to figure out what I wanted my life to look like and feeling comfortable in my skin but I would say I have grown so much. I love myself way more than I ever have. I take better care of myself and I try to prioritize my happiness and wellbeing now more than ever.

(She’s just adorable. Gives off good vibes.Probably has a mixed friend group because she’s diplomatic.)

Sometimes it’s fun to look back at what was and see for yourself what still can be. One thing for sure looking at all these different photos of me, I feel like I am capable of anything. Something I found very interesting: the AI chose specific photos that somehow aligned perfectly for me. All I did was upload random pictures of my face and AI did the rest! I was a cheerleader for a time and I am also a singer and both happened to appear in the images and I just thought that was so cool and so ME.
