So I know I’ve been MIA, I needed some time but now I’m feeling better and I’m able to write and tell you guys about my first time going to Comicon! I was invited to go with my friend Allison and her husband and it was great to hang with them again we always have a good time.
It was so awesome. I got to see so many different people in costume. There were many celebrity panels but the one in particular that I went to was phenomenal by John Rhys-Davies. I found that he’s been in a multitude of movies and television series but the latest show that I had seen him in was The Shannara Chronicles. He was so charismatic, beyond funny, and just all around entertaining and down-to-earth. It was a pleasure listening to him and getting to know him personally for about an hour during his panel.
I went to Comicon as Katherine Petrova from “The Vampire Diaries” but because of my hair color someone thought that I was Clary Fairchild which was interesting because it was similar clothing with the black jacket and boots. She was so cute and embarrassed but I told her it was okay and I actually thought it was cool that she thought I was that character because I also loved the show Shadowhunters and I almost was Clary so that’s really funny. I only went to Comicon on Sunday. Allison and Zach went on all 3 days. Allison looked really cute in her Sally costume. We should have gotten a pic together!
I cannot forget what had me and my babe nerding out and getting so excited! Some of our best childhood memories came unlocked that day when we saw someone that looked exactly like Static Shock and we had to get a photo!
We ended the night swapping stories, having drinks and my friends officially meeting my boyfriend and maybe a slightly intoxicated I love you that I said for the first time that I meant with all my heart. This next chapter is a wild ride but boy is it fun.
