Hey guys, I know it’s been a while.
I just wanted to let me know how I spent this past weekend.
I celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday this weekend. One of our coworkers baked him cupcakes and I dressed them up a bit. We both love red velvet so we enjoyed them.
We caught up on some of our favorite shows and ate some good food. I would say it was a good birthday.
Our one year anniversary was also this weekend but we are planning to actually celebrate it separately the following weekend.
One year actually happened pretty fast for us. I feel like we’ve grown a lot in the months that we’ve spent together. We’ve learned a lot from each other and become better people because of it. We’ve been able to reflect back on the past and learn from on it to be able to move forward and I think that’s important.
We haven’t lost sight of what matters most which is spending time and showing up for each other.
I think we are both recognizing what it takes to maintain a good relationship and are working towards a consistent partnership.
We don’t have it all figured out. I’m just now entering my 30’s. I thought I would have a lot more knowledge by now but I’m taking it one day at a time.
