This week, I released my first country music cover.
And to be honest? I wasn’t sure how it would turn out.
But once I hit record, something felt right.
It wasn’t perfect—but it was me. Real, honest, raw… and country.
And you know what?
It turned out pretty damn well.
I’m Still Figuring Out What’s Next
This transition hasn’t been easy.
I’ve applied to a few jobs—got some rejections, heard back from some places that just aren’t hiring right now. It’s frustrating, it’s discouraging at times, but I’m not giving up.
I also applied to a few places that feature live music.
Even if it’s not a full-time role, it’s a chance to network, to get in the room, and hopefully make the right kind of connections.
Tomorrow I go at it again.
Something’s bound to stick.
I believe that.
I’ve Got a Partner Who’s Got My Back
Through all of this, my man has been showing up for me in ways I’ll never forget.
He’s making sure my bills are covered.
He bought me a new phone so I can keep building my brand, stay in touch, and keep creating.
He reminds me every day that I’m not alone.
We’re looking out for each other.
That kind of love? That kind of partnership?
It means everything.
Final Word: I’m Still in the Game 🎮
This journey is hard.
The music industry is hard.
Life is hard.
But I’m still in it. Still showing up. Still believing in something bigger.
Whether it’s a job, a song, a new opportunity—I know something is going to hit.
Because I’m not done.
New cover is up. New energy is loading.
The dream is alive. And I’m coming for it.
Love always.
Xo,

Nina
